One Last male thingy of the Bow?

It's that time of the year in the BUHL, when bubble teams and teams on the edge making their final playoff push.
The Aeros, despite being 10 points back of a playoff spot, feel they are well in the race. Underdog is an understatement.
Since, the firing of Head Coach Ted Nolan, Houston has been a mediocre trying to stay above .500 hockey. Keenan seems to have the moral going up in that locker room. Before Keenan the local police were prepared for an Aero suicide, moral was sitting at about 8-9. Seeing the Spurs win 5 straight games hasn’t been a distraction.
The Aeros have only lost once in the last seven games.
They have two HUGE games against the Spurs this week both games are in Denver, if the Aeros can win these games, they would be right in the middle of the race.
Montgomery said, some key veterans had asked to be traded to a contender… If the deal would help the team but as of late it seems those same vets have tried to make the Aeros a contender. Montgomery did send Hendrik Sedin to Vancouver in exchange for LW Chris Drury and a couple top draft picks.
He commented earlier saying “Teams really were after Sedin and well to be honest, He wasn’t doing much to move up in the depth chart, We got great Centers on the farm looking to move up, So the deal made a lot of sense to us. We got a 1st line LW that we have been looking for plus a 1st round in 2007 and a 2nd in 2006. We hope to resign Drury in the presigning period.”
As for roster moves Montgomery says they will listen to offers but feels they have a great team and a chance to make the playoffs.
“I really want this team to get rolling; we got 4 big points coming up against the Spurs. We need some help but us winning is up to us to do” Said Montgomery.
“This time of year, you can’t listen to the T.V or radio or even the dumb questions some of you media guys come up with. We need to show up at the rink ready to learn and give it all we got, I have told the younger players this and I’m trying to keep them from doing so.” Captain Koivu said last night.
