1. We take the two vacant teams in the league and assign them to the GMs in the opposite conference. So the Leafs will be controlled by the WHA GMs and Breakers would be controlled by the NHL GMs.
All activity on those two teams would be decided by a majority rules forum discussion, with goals that will be awarded to all GMs if the team can make them.
This would be a pilot project of sorts. If it's determined that Gms aren't capable of mass managing a team or if too much poo gets flung for different management ideas, the project can be canceled.
2. The season for RFA offersheets goes from the draft to the 20th SIM day of the new season. Any offersheets tendered after this period will be thrown out.
Keep in mind that compensation charts are also going to be altered to fit within our salary cap structure.
Players who complete a season without a contract (hold out) will be released by their parent club under the assumption that they have no use or desire to keep the player. Those players will then enter unrestricted free agency.
3. As part of an end-of-the-season activity evaluation GMs will be required to post at minimum 40 times on the forums during the season (we'll go from pre-season to pre-season - yes we'll have a pre-season next year, hah) or contribute 2 front page worthy articles (500+ words) or 4 forum articles (499 words or less) or 6 shell articles (shell article: article borrowed from another source and modified to fit the league.)
GMs failing to comply with aforementioned rule will have their position in the league re-evaluated and may end in dismissal.
