Hey,
I was wondering if the league would ever consider moving towards one sims instead of simulating two per day?
I kind of get tired of having my lines reset because of minor injuries, it really makes having any sort of set line combos difficult. This will be even more frustrating now that we have the ability to set farm lines.
For example, I want Zajac to be my first line centre on my farm club. When I auto-set my lines he moves to the third line. I can always send in lines to fix this, but it's still a pain in cases where your team has two games simmed in one day.
Figured I would bring this up in the off-season, seems like we have time to discuss it.
Thanks,
Coleman

I do fully agree with the annoyance of it changing the lines. However it goes fairly slowly if you do 1 sim per day.

I'm with you on this one Cole. I prefer longer drawn out seasons with lots of opportunity for line tinkering and strategy adjustments. However, that's always the landscape of sim hockey. Lots of people lose interest and drop out during the doldrums of a mid-season swing. People who aim to ruin rosters (or make poor gamble on assets) tend to do it early season and end up abandoning hope by the trade deadline.
Personally, I'd like to see a more "1 sim day per weekday" "2 sim days on weekends" type of set up. I was going to bring it up after the free agency and when we're on the doorstep of the new season. (We're in the driveway of the new season, getting out of the car.)

or to make your job even harded, have a sim in the A.M and another in the P.M, season goes by at the same pace and teams have a chance to send in new lines if they need to....but yes much more time consuming for you!!! lol

Actually, with the quickness of the new sim and the FTP tools I've picked up, running an update is a pretty quick process. (In terms of uploading, it's now a drag-and-drop thing, as opposed to manually selecting files out of a directory.) So doing one before work and doing one directly when I get home (or around dinner time) is pretty feasible.

Frankly, I think the season goes by much too quickly as it stands, as I said before it pretty much throws strategy out the window. Maybe we should put this to vote or something?

That is an interesting idea. That would be totally up to you and Kevin as I know you do share the duties.
