By the way mine had to do with injuries and then I couldn't edit my lines because of the Sim Demon changing Nolan back to LW. It has been fixed.

You were 1.6M over the cap...for at least three days before I posted this. You had a suspension to one of your C. You were in violation. Glad to see you fixed it tho, so no problem now!

Good, thank you. I'll be sure to take screen shots next time so if anyone thinks there is a mistake, I can show them where the violation is. Thanks for being so accepting rather than making a bigger deal out of this.

Quebec and Boston are over. Quebec as a result has lost Leclair due to suspension for 5 games as it is there 2nd violation. Bruins have 3 days to get under or they suffer a suspension as well

I AM NOT OVER!!! Check the email that has my lines that I sent in that puts me under the cap. DO NOT SUSPEND LECLAIR!!!
Also I am not at that point either because the first warning was incorrect!
On a side note - The main site has been up and down constantly and the league files haven't been working very well either so this system is not as cut and dry as it should be. Hopefully this will be resolved next season with the new software.

The Canadiens and Nordiques are over the Salary Cap. It is the 2nd violation for the Canadiens, as a result Vladimir Malakhov should receive a 5 game suspension. It is the 3rd violation for the Nordiques, as a result Mark Recchi should receive a 10 game suspension and one year removed from RFA Daniel Sedin's contract (not exactly sure how that works, just following what the rule states, but a rfa is a 26 year old or younger who's contract has expired...not exactly sure how you remove one year from an expired contract, i'll let the head cheeses figure that one out!)

In the NHL the cap becomes null and void. Reason is simple....so teams can have full rosters, and because players do not earn salary for the playoffs.
Example. Miro Satan was just called up by the pens after spending the last half of the season in the AHL for cap reasons.
Normally I love seeing a gm squirm because of cap violations, but this is something I'd like to get clarity on from the commmisioners. Additionally, looking at the comment section in this thread, I'm curious what the story is behind Quebec in their violations. His statements aren't answered publically, I wonder if they've been answered privately. I hope they have, and the situation was rectified earlier in the process, that is of course if his issues have any valididity.

Most of the statements are taken care of over MSN so there's really no reason to repeat 'em over the boards.
My stance is not to punish either the Canadiens or Nordiques since their seasons were technically over before the infraction was reported. There was a little more there I wanted to elaborate on, but the one sentence sums up my thoughts quite nicely.
